Scratching, Itching, Kibble and Storage Mites

They Love It Raw Dog Food

Last Update 2 years ago

We often have customers come in with dogs that are scratching the life out of themselves. Most of the time these are kibble fed dogs and these conditions can be cured within a few days just by changing over to raw feeding.

Kibble very often contains storage mites, much like our flour can contain weevills. Dogs can ingest the storage mites and it causes the all sorts of itching and scratching problems, resulting in inflamed skin and a general drop in their wellbeing.

You will notice a huge difference in the wellbeing of your dog within the first week of raw feeding. The scratching usually stops completely and their coat will become shining and healthy looking. Their eyes are brighter, their breath will become fresher and over time their teeth will become whiter providing you feed raw meaty bones on a regular basis.

Their poop will be firmer and much more bearable to handle with a completely different smell to what you are used to when feeding kibble or tinned food.
